Catch Basin Replacement
We begin by cutting the perimeter of the proposed area to enhance compaction and appearance. We will then properly dispose of the excavated materials at the right facility. We then install the pre-cast concrete catch basin or hand-built block and mortar and tie in the existing drainage lines. We will reinstall the existing cast iron frame and lid, then reset the basin at the proper height for drainage. We back-fill the excavated area with crushed aggregate, then level and compact it. We will furnish and install 4,000 PSI concrete or 1100T hot asphalt.

We will cut and remove an 8’x8’ area, removing all loose block or brick. If necessary, we will install new blocks or bricks with mortar, while ensuring all other joints are tuck-pointed for a proper bond. We will reinstall the existing cast iron frame and lid on the new basin and reset it at the right height for proper drainage. We will furnish and install 4,000 PSI concrete or 1100T hot asphalt.
